Singapore, 3 July 2023 – HPL Hotels & Resorts, the subsidiary of Singapore-listed Hotel Properties Limited and operator of hospitality establishments in the Asia-Pacific and Indian Ocean region announces a new resort The Boathouse Pulau Tioman, nestled along the pristine west coast of Tioman Island in Malaysia, set to open in the first quarter of 2024.

This hotel will be the latest addition to The Boutique Collection by HPL Hotels & Resorts. Other hotels include Casa del Mar Langkawi, Casa del Rio Melaka, The Lakehouse Cameron Highlands and The Boathouse Phuket.

Accessible by boat from Mersing or Tanjung Gemok on the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia, The Boathouse Pulau Tioman is an idyllic oasis on a secluded beach for guests to experience local simplicity at its finest. Inspired by nature and style after the traditional Malay house, all 31 bungalows feature renewable, locally sourced timber. There is an all-day dining, a beachfront bar, infinity pool and a communal hall for small meetings and events.
